The Mirren is double lined, and that construction is what gives it presence. A single layer throw drapes thinly and slides off; two bonded layers add weight, so it stays in place and holds warmth in rather than letting it escape through the weave. The pile is a long, fine faux fur with a soft, rabbit like hand. It feels soft against the skin and resists matting at the contact points in the way short pile fleece often does. Made from 100 percent polyester, it is also unaffected by the moths that can damage wool throws.
