Alder Kitchen operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Alder Kitchen is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.

We make every effort to represent our products accurately. Colours and product appearance may differ from how they look on your screen, depending on your device and its settings.

Product descriptions and specifications may change at any time without notice. We may discontinue any product at any time, and we may limit the quantity of any product we offer to any person or region.

SECTION 3. ORDERS

When you place an order you are making an offer to purchase. Alder Kitchen may accept or decline any order at its discretion. Your order is not accepted until we confirm acceptance, and we must receive and process your payment before an order is accepted.

Please review your order carefully before submitting it. If we do not accept, change or cancel an order, we will contact you using the email address, billing address or phone number you provided.

Returns and exchanges are governed solely by our Refund Policy.

You confirm that your purchases are for your own personal or household use and not for commercial resale or export.

SECTION 4. PRICES AND BILLING

Prices, discounts and promotions may change without notice. The price charged will be the price in effect when the order is placed, and it will be shown in your order confirmation email.

All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery within the United Kingdom is free, with no minimum order value.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and account information, and to keep it up to date so that we can complete your transactions and contact you when needed.

You confirm that the payment card details you provide are true and complete, that you are authorised to use that card, and that you will pay the charges you incur at the posted prices.

SECTION 5. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

We ship within the United Kingdom only. Estimated delivery is 7 to 10 working days in total, made up of 1 to 2 working days handling and 6 to 8 working days transit.

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or by events outside our control. Full details are set out in our Shipping Policy.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory right to receive your goods within 30 days unless a longer period has been agreed.

SECTION 6. YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason, and a further 14 days to return the goods.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If they are not, you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund.

We go beyond the statutory minimum and offer 30 day returns. Full details are in our Refund Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes or limits your statutory rights.

SECTION 7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Our Services, including all trade marks, brands, text, images, graphics, video and audio, and the selection and arrangement of them, are owned by Alder Kitchen, its affiliates or its licensors, and are protected by the intellectual property laws of the United Kingdom and other countries.

These Terms permit you to use the Services for your personal, non commercial use only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, download or transmit any material from the Services without our prior written consent.

The Alder Kitchen name, logo and designs are trade marks of Alder Kitchen. You must not use them without our prior written permission. All other names and logos on the Services are the trade marks of their respective owners.

SECTION 8. THIRD PARTY LINKS

The Services may contain links to websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating their content or accuracy, and we are not liable for any harm arising from your use of them.

SECTION 9. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY

Alder Kitchen is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. Any sales and purchases you make in our store are made directly with Alder Kitchen.

By using the Services you acknowledge that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sale between you and Alder Kitchen, including any injury, damage or loss resulting from products purchased.

All personal information we collect through the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, and some personal information may also be subject to Shopify's own privacy policy. By using the Services you acknowledge that you have read these policies.

SECTION 11. FEEDBACK

If you send us ideas, suggestions, reviews, proposals or other content, you grant us a perpetual, worldwide, royalty free licence to use, reproduce, modify, publish and display that content in any medium for any purpose, including commercial use.

Occasionally there may be information on the Services containing typographical errors or inaccuracies relating to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, delivery charges or availability.

We reserve the right to correct any errors and to change or update information, or cancel orders, if any information is inaccurate, at any time and without prior notice, including after you have submitted your order. Where we cancel an order for this reason we will refund you in full.

You may use the Services for lawful purposes only. You may not use them for any unlawful or malicious purpose, to break any law or regulation, to infringe anyone's intellectual property rights, to harass or abuse any person, to transmit false or misleading information, to send unsolicited advertising, or to impersonate any other person or entity.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, Alder Kitchen, its partners, officers, employees, agents, contractors and licensors, and those of Shopify, are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss of any kind, including lost profits, lost savings or loss of data, arising from your use of the Services or of any product bought through them.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alder Kitchen, Shopify, and our affiliates, partners, officers, employees, agents, contractors and licensors from any losses, damages, liabilities or claims, including reasonable legal fees, payable to any third party arising out of your breach of these Terms, your breach of any law or the rights of a third party, or your use of the Services.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that provision will be enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the unenforceable part will be severed. This will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.

Our failure to exercise or enforce any right under these Terms is not a waiver of that right.
